2011 Ontario Dental Association Show
This year we attended the ODA (Ontario Dental Association) convention on April 28th & 29th in Toronto.
It was a great couple of days again with lectures, and socializing with other dental offices and communities. A great time was had by all. We had our picture taken with Toronto Argonauts Cheerleaders. My staff was not thrilled at the idea of posing with the competition, but did it anyway.

Alpha Omega International Dental Society Seminar
Mayrhofen Austria January 23-27, 2011
At the end of January 2011, Alpha Omega Dental Society held its yearly winter seminar. In addition to the daily seminar, the skiing was amazing and I am looking forward to going next year.

ODA Spring Meeting
On May 13th & 14th 2010 the office attended the annual spring convention
of the Ontario Dental Association.
It is
always an exciting event held in Toronto where lectures are given by
clinicians and academics from around the world. Dental companies showcase
the latest technologies and products in the dental field and as an office
we enjoy the experience and renew bonds with colleagues in the profession.
Henry Schein was
raffling off this brand new Harley Davidson motorcycle. Suffice to say
that no one in our office won (much to Liz's dismay). Oh well, there is
always next year! |
Grand River Fly Fishing
 On Saturday June 19, 2010 an adventurous group of dentists headed out to
the Grand River in Fergus Ontario for a day of Fly Fishing sponsored by
Rotsaert Dental Lab.
The event was guided by John. In
the morning, the fishing was brisque and I had the opportunity to carry
out dental exams on a Trout and a Sucker. Their oral hygiene was
impeccable and treatment was not necessary so all fish were released back
into the Grand River.
The afternoon brought more fishing but no more
exams, as the fish seemed to be a little tired and seemed to be avoiding
the dentist. The day ended with a round of drinks and dinner in Fergus.
Of course when you get dentists together (as my wife can attest) you will
always get a discussion of dentistry and current topics. |
